HAS MAN FORSAKEN RELIGION?
To answer this question, we appeal to your own perception, and we quote from an article by Daniel H. King (Guardian of Truth, Pg. 21, Feb. 3, 1994):
"Modern secular man ... is more religious and 'other-world conscious' than ever... Now his behavior is generally bad, and he is interested in all sorts of bazaar metaphysical 'realities,' in altered states of consciousness, in psychic phenomena, in crystal consciousness and pyramid power, in self-realization and transcendental meditation, in extra-terrestrial visitations, in dianetics and negative engrams, in UFOs and ETIs, in harmonic convergences, in gurus and Yogis, in native American shamanism, in medicine wheels and the Earth Mother, in neo-paganism, and on and on ..."
No! Man has not forsaken religion -- he is as enslaved to it as was the earliest of our idolatrous ancestors. The plight of man today is not because he has forsaken religion, it is that HE HAS FORSAKEN GOD!
