HAS SOMETHING OUT OF THE BLUE ROCKED YOUR WORLD?

The Bible tells us something that happened to the disciples. They were in a boat with Jesus. It was in water so calm that Jesus was sleeping. Everything was perfectly fine, and then it says: “SUDDENLY, a FIERCE storm struck the lake."

That may happen to you in your life, without warning. It may be sudden, and it may be fierce. One telephone call, one encounter, one diagnosis, one job loss might make you think that your entire future has been completely altered.

These disciples not only knew Jesus, He was actually right there in the boat with them, in person. But then suddenly and without warning, there was a problem!

Matthew 8:24-25 says, "But Jesus was sleeping. The disciples went and woke Him up, shouting, 'Lord, save us! We are going to drown!'”

Listen to me. They weren't going to drown. You aren't going to drown. They only THOUGHT they were. "Jesus responded, 'Why are you afraid? You have so little faith!' Then He got up and rebuked the wind and waves, and SUDDENLY there was a great calm."

The great calm came just as suddenly as the fierce storm!

It will be okay. “I've read the back of the book and we win." Jesus puts you in those situations to show you that “even the winds and the waves obey His voice.”
