DON’T LISTEN TO BAD ADVICE

There has never been a time when so many people are making so many poor decisions. People are believing fake news and accepting censorship as normal and sometimes even good. People are ignoring Biblical truth and redefining what is good and what is bad. They are questioning whether or not what God has said is even moral.

People are allowing their minds to be so easily reprogrammed and manipulated by what they watch and who they listen to. They aren't even resisting.

Every decision you make, and everything you believe, should be based on Biblical truth that never changes to fit into a secular society. If there is a check in your spirit about something you hear, then turn off that source. Don't listen to lies. Guard your own mind.

Don't judge God's will for your life based on where you can make the most money. All of us would be drug dealers if that were the case. Don't run toward the option that brings you the most pleasure. We would all live hedonistic lives if that were the case. Don't operate from a fear-of-loss mentality. Mark 8:36 tells the only thing you should fear losing: "And what do you benefit if you gain the whole world but lose your own soul?"

Always choose the option that will bring honor to God. Don't be unequally yoked with unbelievers. Psalm 1:1 clearly says, "Oh, the joys of those who do not follow the advice of the wicked, or stand around with sinners, or join in with mockers." Never blindly follow the crowd. Avoid the herd mentality. Choose the narrow road. There are places you need to avoid, and voices you need to block.

"Delight in the law of the LORD, meditating on it day and night...and you will prosper in all you do" (Psalm 1:2, 3b).
