WHAT TO DO WHEN YOU CAN’T AVOID DEPLETING RELATIONSHIPS

"I am tired of living among people who hate peace. I search for peace; but when I speak of peace, they want war!” Psalm 120:6-7

In this life, and in this world, you are never going to come to a place where everybody lives in harmony. For some of you, the Warzone you live in may be inside of the four walls of your own home.

If that is true, what I’m going to say is of even more importance. You MUST find a group of believers who will enrich you, and speak life into you. You must find a safe place with safe people. You must create a group of friends who will be a replenishing shelter from your storm.

You can create your own atmosphere if you are clothed in the Armor of God (your spiritual hazmat suit), indwelt on the inside with the Prince of Peace, and intentionally connected to encouraging and like-minded friends.

The darts and the barbs may still fly, but they will not land. There are many people you will not be able to avoid, (they may live under your own roof), but you DO have many nooks and crannies in your life where you can find shelter under the wings of the Almighty, and nourishing friendship with people who love Jesus.
