DO YOU THINK YOU ARE A FAILURE?

Have you ever said you felt like a failure? Where did that come from? It didn't come from God. So rebuke it.

First of all, there is no such thing as failure. There can be a dip, a setback, a wrong turn, and yes, even a horrific and shameful sin.

But failure implies finality. And nothing is final.

What we perceive as failure is only:

*An opportunity to experience God's grace in a deeper way.

*A chance to begin again in a better way.

*A guidepost to point you to the right way.

*A reminder of the necessity to do things in God's strength and the futility of doing things in your own strength.

What we perceive as failure is:

*What keeps us humble, and humility is what makes us great.

*What makes us relatable to others. It is the failures of an ultimately successful man that gives hope to those who are struggling.

Always remember:

*There is no need of light without darkness.

*There is no comfort without sorrow.

*There is no forgiveness without sin.

*There is no success without setbacks.

*There is no grace without failure.

"My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness" (II Corinthians 12:9).
