HERE I AM LORD, SEND ME

"Then I heard the Lord asking, 'Whom should I send as a messenger to this people? Who will go for us?' I said, 'Here I am. Send me'" (Isaiah 6:8, NLT).

O God, I am clean. I have confessed and forsaken any known sin in my life. I am empty. I am surrendered. I am waiting in Your presence. I am available.

Pour Your message and Your word into me. I am a vessel waiting in Your presence to be filled. I am available and eager to pour what You pour into me back out into whomever You put in front of me. I am a conduit of Your grace. I am simply a hose or a pipeline. I am only a carrier of Your message and a fulfiller of Your assignment.

Let's suppose I had a note, an instruction, or a notification I needed to get into the hands of someone else. If I entrusted that message to someone--anyone--and told them to make certain it was safely delivered, there are only two things that would matter. One, is the person I gave it to willing to take it and deliver it to the correct person? And two, will they complete the assignment? That's all.

God isn't looking to see if you have a great resume or superior speaking skills. It's His word He wants delivered, not yours. All He wants to know is if you are clean and available, and if He can count on you to deliver His word to the intended party. That's all. The focus isn't on you. It's on the message and the recipient.

If you think you are unworthy or not good enough, that's a sign you think it is about delivering your word, not God's word. God is looking for any available messenger He can trust. He is looking for anyone who wants to fulfill God's agenda instead of their own. He is looking for anyone who is not already full of their own opinions. If you think it is all about you, you are not the one He is going to use.

God wants to speak TO you in order to speak THROUGH you. It's that easy. And it isn't about you at all. It's about what HE has to say, and who He wants to use you to deliver that message to.
