YOUR HIGHEST CALLLING

I pray you don’t feel you’re unable to make a difference in the world because you are tied down raising children, babysitting grandchildren, or caregiving for parents. What you are doing is a high and holy calling. It is possibly the highest and holiest calling you will ever have. And it is only for a season. Don’t waste this time. It won’t last forever.

God’s assignments are generally right under your nose. Find your joy and purpose where God has you today. One day, you will wish you had this time back. You aren’t missing out on what God has for you when you are caretaking. You are doing what God has for you.

God made the universe. He isn’t impressed by your promotion at work or your overtime at the office. But He does lean in and watch with pleasure when you love on and care for the people that He loves and cares for. That’s what makes Him happy.
