ARE YOU IN NEED OF A CHRISTMAS MIRACLE?

Let these verses sink in today:

"I am the LORD, who opened a way through the waters, making a dry path through the sea. I called forth the mighty army of Egypt with all its chariots and horses. I drew them beneath the waves, and they drowned, their lives snuffed out like a smoldering candlewick.

BUT FORGET ALL THAT--it is NOTHING compared with what I am going to do. For I am about to do SOMETHING NEW. See, I have already begun! Do you not see it? I will make a pathway through that wilderness. I will create rivers in the dry wasteland" (Isaiah 43:16-20).

Oh friend, do you need a miracle? Are you in a wilderness? Does the inside of you feel like a dry wasteland? Is there a situation where, try as you may, you can't figure out the answer?

"He can make a way where there seems to be no way." Psalm 77:19 says, "Our road led through the sea, your pathway through the mighty waters— a pathway no one knew was there!" That is one amazing verse! But THIS verse out of Isaiah says, "Forget all that!" It is nothing compared with what I am going to do. For I am about to do something new."

How is God going to bring life into your wilderness and rivers in your dry wasteland? I don't know. All I know is the promise in Ephesians 3:20: "He is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think." I know Psalm 33:6 that says, "The LORD merely spoke, and the heavens were created. He breathed the word, and all the stars were born!"

What does He require to do "something new" on your behalf? He requires your surrender, your belief, and your trust. He wants you to ask in faith. Don't do anything He tells you NOT TO DO and do everything He tells you TO DO. Be patient. Don't act UNTIL He tells you to act. Be responsive. Act immediately WHEN He tells you to act.
