IS GOD NOTHING MORE THAN A PLACEBO?

Do you ever wonder if all this “God stuff” is real? Is there an emptiness or numbness in your soul that is sometimes so strong it makes you feel like God is something fake you’re believing in like Santa Claus?

I’ve felt that before. That’s a lie sent from Satan. You can be certain you are under intentional, targeted attack when those feelings come.

When those feelings come, you need to first of all LOOK WITHIN. What are you holding onto that is blocking the flow of the Holy Spirit? There is something out of order inside of your life. You cannot stop poisoned arrows, in the form of doubt, from being aimed at you. But you can stop them from lodging inside of your heart and making a home there. You created the blockage. You can open your hands in surrender and release the blockage. When you do, the feelings and joy will flow again.

So the first thing you need to do when those doubts come is look within, and the second thing you need to do when those feelings come is LOOK WITHOUT.

When you doubt God’s existence, just look around. Look into the night sky. Look at the complexity of creation. Nothing just happens. You were “fearfully and wonderfully made.” Only a “fool would say there is no God.” 

Of course, there is a God. He is not silent. You are the one not listening. You are distracted, uninterested, rebellious, and hardened. When you return to Him, you will find that He has been there waiting with open arms and unfailing love. 

When you seek Him with all your heart, you will always find Him. When you return, He will always be there waiting. When you let go of what is blocking the nearness of His presence, you will feel Him again.
