FILL ME UP IN ORDER TO POUR ME BACK OUT

O Lord, may I never dare to speak Your word until I have sat empty and clean in Your presence, listening and filling up with You. And may I never fail speak Your word AFTER I have sat in Your presence and heard from You.

You will not fill me if I am already full of something else. You will not pour into me if I am dirty. But WHEN I am both empty and clean, You delight in filling me. And when You do fill me, it is for the purpose of pouring me back out into the next person You put into my path.  That person may be someone I have intentionally scheduled for the purpose of sharing what You have pouring into me, or it may be an appointment you have put on my calendar in the form of a divine interruption. Either one.

I fill up daily for the purpose of pouring back out daily everything You put inside of me. It all comes from a refillable Source. As long as I abide in Your presence each morning as an empty and clean vessel, I can freely pour into everyone I come into contact with because the river of the Holy Spirit never runs dry.
