SHOWING GOD WHAT HE SAID

I have been sitting outside and praying God’s own words back to Him. I am not micro-managing Him or giving Him turn by turn directions on how He needs to do something. What I am doing is taking His own words, the things He has said in the Scriptures, and praying those exact words back to Him on behalf of myself and others.

Many times, I literally repeatedly tap my finger on a verse, turn my Bible outward, and face it toward the sky in God’s direction, to remind Him of His own promise. I’m not simply making up things that I want.  I’m reading what He has stated that He wants and reminding Him of what He has said. 

I know that I don’t have to tap my finger on the verse and face it toward the sky in order for God to answer me. But doing that is giving me great faith and the assurance that I am praying the will of God. I know I am claiming the desires of His heart and not selfish whims.

This has resulted in me experiencing peace, confidence, and power in my prayers. Try it.
